Can I expect the process to take longer than if I was to arrange my insurance policies locally?
No, if anything our process is simpler and quicker. With some products, such as car or travel insurance you can obtain a quote and purchase the insurance on line. With other more complex products, such as mortgages, one of our advisors will call you to discuss your requirements in detail and liase with you by either: telephone, Email or post; whichever is your preference.

Are you regulated?

Do I pay for the commission that is paid to you / charity?
No, every time you buy an insurance policy or take out a mortgage, it generates a commission which is paid to the intermediary / broker. With insure4charity we are sacrificing 50% of the commission we would normally receive, to a charity of your choice.

Is it necessary for me to provide private information to you and is the site secure?
Insure4Charity considers the privacy of its customers to be a serious issue. Insure4Charity and our insurance partners take every effort to ensure your information remains private and confidential.

How do I know that my donation has been paid to my chosen charity?
Once we receive commission from any products or polices you purchase from our Company we forward 50% of this commission to your chosen charity. If you give us consent to do so, we will also pass on your Name and Address to your nominated charity. The Charity will then be encouraged to contact you directly and thank you for the donation.

How long after taking out the policy is the donation made?
A donation is made to the charity in the same month as the commission is received.

I would want my donation to be kept anonymous, is this possible?
Yes. We adhere to a strict data protection policy and therefore if you wish to remain anonymous, we notify the charity of this fact and request that they acknowledge receipt of your donation to us instead of you. We will in turn then forward you an acknowledgement receipt from you nominated charity as proof the donation was paid on your behalf.

Have you got any testimonials from clients /charities that have already taken out insurances and received donations?
It is our intention to place testimonials on the site, but only if the charity and Donor allow us to do so.

Is it possible to speak to an advisor rather than do my insurance on line?
Yes you will always have that option for any product or service you are interested in. Should you wish to take up this option your details will be forwarded to an adviser who will be working for J Gillespie & Co Ltd and who is regulated by the FSA.

How can you afford to pay 50% of the commission due to you, to my chosen charity?
We can afford to rebate 50% of our commissions to Charity because we keep our operating costs to a minimum. We work closely with Charities all over the UK and as our service is internet and office based we can keep our overheads as low as possible.

Is this a unique idea?
To the best of our knowledge, YES, we are the first company ever to offer a service like this for Financial Services.
